Arnhild's Knitting Retreat
My family attended Arnhild's (http://www.arnhild.com/) Knitting Retreat in Ames, IA again this year. We set a record with 7 of us attending. My 2 daughters, daughter in law, sister and niece, and our adopted sister were there. One of the days we wore matching shirts which were fun and caused people to notice.
Before the retreat we did some sight seeing in Ames. There is a winery there which we visited and stocked up for our evening parties. My daughters found these shirts.
All day Saturday and Sunday morning are classes, but I have no pictures. I took a drop spindle class and a lace class, both which were very good. Of course Denise had her yarn shop (http://www.denise'sneedlework.com/ ) so shopping was right in the hotel. Here the girls are winding yarn which Margaret won as a doorprize. Several projects were finished this weekend. The red glittens were made by Margaret for her sister, Gloria who is proudly showing them off.
